7 Precast Concrete Mould Maintenance Tips for Longer Service Life
Keep your steel moulds clean, aligned and ready for reliable production with these practical maintenance checks.

Clean after every casting cycle
Remove residual concrete before it hardens. A clean contact surface protects panel finish quality and prevents damage during the next demoulding cycle.
Use release oil correctly
Apply a thin, even layer of mould release oil. Too little can make demoulding difficult, while excessive oil may affect the finished concrete surface.
Inspect locks, pins and welds
Check clamps, alignment pins, hinges and weld joints regularly. Early repair of wear prevents slurry leakage, mould movement and avoidable production stoppage.
